An early breakfast, a hearty lunch or a delicious home-cooked evening meal — including our popular Sunday roast. Whether you’re fuelling up before an early tee time or settling in for a leisurely evening meal, our kitchen serves honest, home-cooked food in a relaxed setting.

The bar
Sport on the big screen, a drink in hand
A full range of beers and lagers, a selection of wines, and plenty of soft drinks, teas and coffees. Catch the big match on the big screen and raise a glass after your round. Extended bar licence until midnight Sunday–Thursday and 1am Friday & Saturday.

Step out onto the two-tier patio for far-reaching views across the Exe Estuary and Woodbury. It’s open to non-golfers, so it’s the perfect spot to meet friends, watch the golf or simply soak up the Devon scenery.

Do you have to play golf to eat here?
No — the Charcombes Lounge is open to non-golfers and the public. Come for breakfast, a relaxed lunch, an evening meal or just a drink, whether or not you’ve been on the course.
Do you serve a Sunday roast?
We do, and it’s a favourite. Our home-cooked Sunday roast is popular with golfers and locals alike, so we’d recommend booking a table to be sure of a seat.
What are your opening times?
The restaurant serves 9:00am – 2:30pm every day, with dinner 6:00pm – 9:00pm Wed – Fri (dinner). The bar is open 8:00am – 9:00pm Mon–Fri and 8:00am – 6:00pm at weekends.
