Nine greens, eighteen tees and a different question on every hole — here’s every yardage, par and stroke index to plan your round.

The Opener

Par 4 · Stroke index 1

Stroke index 1 and the longest two-shotter on the card — a stout opening par 4 that rewards a positive drive and sets the tone for the round.

Par 3 · Stroke index 2

A mid-iron par 3 with far-reaching views — judge the distance and the breeze coming off the Exe Estuary to find the green in regulation.

Par 4 · Stroke index 3

A reachable par 4 where position off the tee is everything; find the short grass and you leave a simple wedge into the green.

Par 3 · Stroke index 4

The signature hole — a short par 3 played all the way over a pond. Picture-postcard pretty, but anything short or wide and the water beckons.

Par 4 · Stroke index 5

A par 4 that runs alongside the spring-fed stream feeding the lakes — keep your drive dry and you’ll have a short iron left to the green.

Par 3 · Stroke index 6

The longest of the par 3s and a proper examination — a confident long iron or hybrid is the play to this green.

Par 4 · Stroke index 7

A long two-shotter that plays every inch of its yardage. A good drive is a must to give yourself a realistic look at the green.

Par 5 · Stroke index 8

The course’s only par 5 — uphill all the way, with out-of-bounds tight down the left. A genuine three-shotter and a real card-wrecker if you stray.

Par 3 · Stroke index 9

A closing par 3 back towards the clubhouse — finish with a flourish in front of the Charcombes Lounge and its two-tier patio.
